This page lists private equity deals in the six kinds of practices we work with. Those are dental, optometry, veterinary, mental health, chiropractic and medspa practices. We check for new deals each week and add the ones we can confirm from a public source.
Each entry gives the date, the practice group, the private equity firm behind it and what happened. Each one links to the source we read. We keep the last twelve months, and the newest deals sit at the top of each list.

What these deals mean for practice owners
Each deal on this list is a practice joining a group that a private equity firm owns. Most of them are add-ons. An add-on is a practice bought by a group that already exists and wants to grow.
A group that buys add-ons looks hard at the books of each practice it buys. It wants monthly numbers it can trust. It also wants to see how each location does on its own.
Clean monthly books give a buyer less reason to cut the price. They also show the owner what the practice is worth before any talks start.
You do not need to plan a sale for this to matter. The same books help you run the practice well if you never sell. Read more about dental practice finance and veterinary practice finance. Our guide to growth and sale readiness covers what to fix first.
